In accordance to Safety regulations in North America, both USA and Canada, it is mandatory for equipment to be approved. Especially in USA, safety regulations applicable in accordance to “29 CFR 1910”. For example, if an industrial tool/machine/equipment is not “listed” by one of the agencies recognized by OSHA then tool/machine/equipment must be “field labeled” as described below. Also, we can review and comment on early designs prior to the actual build cycle saving both time and cost for end user. This enables shorter time for final inspection at end user site “affixing FE label”(labeling) on installed tool/machine/equipment.

Product Certification (Listing) by NRTL (USA DoL OSHA/Canada ESA Accredited Inspection Bodies) for North American market

Limited/Lot Product Certification by NRTL(USA DoL OSHA/Canada ESA Accredited Inspection Bodies) for North American market

Initial lot production will be tested like product certification in the NRTL Certified laboratory. This is a comprehensive service if a NRTL certificate of compliance exits for initial lot product, then with minimum verification tests conducted at your factory/laboratory, may qualify to obtain product certification for next lot product, even if there is a minor deviation/design change.

Field Evaluation (Field Labeling) by NRTL(USA DoL OSHA/Canada ESA Accredited Inspection Bodies) for North American market

Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) across the United States and Canada, Almost all electrical products are required to qualify some sort of independent/third-party laboratory testing or field evaluation completed in-situ before the equipment or components to be energized.
Field Evaluation is a kind of traditional evaluation system in accordance to NEC NFPA/CEC CSA SPE-1000 electrical code. SAFE TECHNO conducts pre-evaluation for the product at manufacturer’s facility, and permitted to affix a pre-evaluation label to the product. After shipping and installation at customers site, our partner NRTL company, which is a nationally accredited independent third-party, affix applicable final FE label which is approved by AHJ that the product conforms to applicable standards.
